We have a mixed impression of Walton Primo G8i. It has some strong positives, but with some downsides as well.
The phone comes with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM and Mali-T820 GPU to ensure faster performance than most other devices in this price range. So multitasking and graphics tasks will be smoother. Performance is its big benefit. 8 MP back and 5 MP front camera should also be pretty fine considering the price. We have got a fair sized full-view display, FM Radio with recording and face unlock features which are some of its other good sides.
There is no 4G network support which is one of its downsides. So, even if you have got faster RAM and GPU, internet tasks will respond much slower. Then the 2250 mAh battery is pretty insignificant and you should use your phone with care and patience. It is not made for power users. There is no front flash or display flash so face unlock will also not work in the dark. We expected an HD+ screen but there is a lower quality FWVGA+ screen. There is also no OTG or light sensor. We guess these are the compromises you need to make for the faster performance.
