Symphony Bangladesh – Symphony Mobile Price in Bangladesh
Symphony is a Bangladeshi brand that sells Android smartphones, feature phones and Android tablet computers or tabs. Edison Group founded the brand Symphony in the year 2008. For more than ten years they were manufacturing phones in China and importing in Bangladesh. On September 2018, Symphony Mobile established their own factory in Bangladesh. They now import hardware and some other body parts from China and assemble the products directly in Bangladesh. Symphony has always been known as the people’s brand. In less than four years, they became the top selling mobile phone brand in Bangladesh with millions of fans and users all around the country. The primary reason behind their huge success was affordable price combined with decent build quality, trusted service and useful features. The main focus of Symphony is low-budget dual-SIM feature phones and Android phones within 3,000 to 15,000 Tk budget. The vast majority of consumers are looking for a suitable device in this budget range which is why Symphony still has more market share than companies like Huawei, Xiaomi, Walton or Samsung in Bangladesh. Their showrooms and authorized dealers are all around Bangladesh.
History of Symphony Phones
Symphony Xplorer W68 released in 2013 was a massive success. It gave Symphony an exclusive place is people’s heart. This affordable phone was finely designed and came with pretty impressive features for its time. No other brand ever offered such a finely balanced smartphone (regarding design, features, performance, and price) back then for the low-budget customers. Xplorer ZV released in December 2014, Xplorer ZVI released in July 2015, Symphony H150, Xplorer V80, W68Q and W69Q were some other famous releases in the past. Symphony INOVA, i120, G100 are some of its more recent successful releases. The Xplorer Z series is still presenting one premium type phone per year. Moreover, Symphony’s owner Edison Group started a new brand called “Helio” to release mid-range devices to meet the requirements of higher budget consumers.
Since the rise of Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, itel, Lava, Tecno, Vivo etc. Symphony is facing much stronger competition in the smartphone market. More and more consumers are demanding improvement of hardware & software quality, faster performance and better features in Symphony smartphones. Another thing is that Nokia officially came back in Bangladesh since 2017 after a long break and took over a big part of the feature phone market. A large number of consumers prefer the durability of Nokia over the lower price of Symphony. itel bar phones also made a big name in the low-cost scene. So, Symphony needs a new plan or strategy to increase their sales in this category as well.
