Official Price in Bangladesh:
Vivo V15 Pro is a high-mid range smartphone. The main feature of this phone is a 32 megapixel pop-up front camera and a no notch full-view display.
The phone comes with a very large 6.39-inch super AMOLED display. It is a bezel-less phone on all four sides. The display quality is Full HD+ 400 ppi. You can easily use this phone as an e-book reader, watching videos will also be very comfortable. Internet browsing or app using may also come in ease without any disturbance of notch or a front bar. Super AMOLED is also known for the crisp view and eye-friendly nature. It is pretty worth the price. Although we couldn’t find any information about a Gorilla Glass screen protection. If there is no protection for such a fine display, it is surely a disadvantage. The back side is made of plastic, but it has kind of a glass finish on the top according to an expert hands-on review. But be sure to take it in hand and check out for yourself if the material of the back side is important to you. It has a gradient back meaning it changes colors if you change the angle and there is also a fine texture in it. It is a very premium thing to look at. It can be a nice gift or a good choice for long-term premium users who have a taste for design.
Motorized pop-up front cameras are no new concept. But this one is made very fast with just 0.46 second response time. Popin up and down for face unlock takes less than a second and you will hear a smooth futuristic motorized sound which indicates fine engineering behind the scene. The photo quality looks pretty clear and natural as well. The back one is a triple camera. It has a 48-megapixel sensor, but the effective camera is of 12 megapixels . Vivo was also quite transparent and honest about it which gets a compliment from us. There is also an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a 5 MP depth sensor. Overall, it captures very good shots during daylight and also in the night condition with an advanced night mode. There is UHD video recording on the back and Full HD recording on the front. All in all, we were quite satisfied with both cameras. Except we have seen a little bit of over-saturation sometimes during the daylight. But the sharpness was impressive.
There should not be any worry about the performance with an optimized Snapdragon 675AIE chipset, 6 GB ROM and Adreno 612 GPU. If you use any GPU related app, it will automatically prioritize the performance of the app over other tasks and background apps to ensure accelerated GPU performance. Furthermore, the chipset ensures lower power consumption so that you may have a longer backup with 3700 mAh battery. There is also a fast-charging technology which will charge 24% in just 15 minutes. It is a pretty good deal for the cost.
Vivo V15 Pro comes with 128 GB internal storage (113 GB free) and dedicated slot that supports up to 256 GB MicroSD card. So, storage is a big positive of this device as well. There is a fast and very accurate in-display fingerprint sensor, quick face unlock, dual SIM, OTG, Android Pie version (an upgrade to next version is also expected) etc. However, there is no USB Type-C and the body isn’t waterproof which are some drawbacks. The data transfer will be much slower than a full-featured USB Type-C. But it may not be a big deal for many.
