Official Price in Bangladesh:
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is the mid-range release from Samsung Bangladesh for mid-2018. As Samsung is still the most reliable brand of Bangladesh, there has been a lot of interest in the release of this phone. J7 Duo surprised us big time and unfortunately not in a positive way. The pricing and specs combination is a big disappointment. Let’s have a quick look.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo comes with a 5.5″ HD display. Even the 25,900 Tk. priced Samsung Galaxy J7 Max had a 5.7 inch Full HD display and an aluminum body. J7 Duo comes with a full plastic body. The dual 13+5 MP primary camera is the only attraction of this phone. But the selfie camera is an 8 MP regular one. The current demand is high for front camera and Samsung could rather put the dual camera on the front or give at least 13 MP like the J7 Max. 3000 mAh battery is a pretty average one. These are by no mean representing an authoritative mid-range smartphone in mid-2018. When it is Samsung, then it is much more surprising. There is also no innovative features. Regular features like OTG and Gorilla Glass are missing too. Chinese brands like Xaomi, Oppo, Huawei and Vivo may increase the sale of their mid-range models as they are way ahead of the competition at this moment with their attractive specs.
Along the back camera, there is also a 4 GB RAM, Android Oreo v8.0, fingerprint sensor, Super AMOLED display and 1.6 GHz octa-core CPU which could be counted as good advantages. There is some hope and it is not among the worst of devices. However, Galaxy J7 Max had a 2.4 GHz octa-core CPU. So, not only that Samsung is behind the competition but also the price of their phone increased greatly. This is why the critic is so high about this device. So, altogether we would say that Samsung is letting down their loyal consumers with this release and this may concern their business in Bangladesh in 2018.
